SEPTEMBER FISHING EXCEPTIONAL

Record cool temperatures and four plus inches of rain have our local rivers in really good shape.   Grasshoppers are really starting to fish well on Yellowstone,  stillwater, Rock  Creek, and the Boulder.   The Bighorn River has dropped signicantly to around 25000 cfs, and is fishing good.  This is probably the best water year anyone has seen for twenty years., Water levels on the Missouri, Big Hole, Jefferson and Madison  rivers are all in great shape and fishing great.  The Big Horn has been  on a roll all summer with PMDs, Black Caddis, and Hoppers are all working well.  We are all looking forward to a strong and very productive fall on all our local rivers and streams.  Call or email us for further details!  Meanwhile, we will be concentrating on Fly Fishing Classes (Go to our "Workshops and Events") and promoting some of our annual "high-water" store specials.   Get a free Fly Box with purchase of a dozen flies.
