HOT TEMPS WILL FINISH RUNOFF

The first week of July finally brought warm temps. and all the rivers and streams rose significantly!  The good news though, is, the runoff has peaked and all the freestone rivers east of the continental divide have started dropping!   So fishing the freestones is finally here.  Yellowstone,  stillwater, Rock  Creek, and the Boulder are all starting to fish well.   The Bighorn River has dropped signicantly to around 5000 cfs, and is fishing good.  It will have to carry the load until local freestone rivers settle back down.  However, there  are some ponds and lakes that are worth checking out.  Call or email us for further details!  Meanwhile, we will be concentrating on Fly Fishing Classes (Go to our "Workshops and Events") and promoting some of our annual "high-water" store specials.  All rod  and reel combos storewide  purchased during July, get a dozen flies free!
